INQUIRE ABOUT FEES

Psychotherapy for children and adolescents encompasses a complex set of techniques and therapeutic methods aimed at helping young individuals who face emotional or behavioral difficulties. Even though there are various types of psychotherapy, communication is the tool upon which each relies to produce change.

Psychotherapy can involve the child individually, a group of children, a family, or multiple families.

For children and adolescents, drawing, play, and communication are important ways to express feelings and solve problems.

Through psychotherapy, children and adolescents receive emotional support, resolve conflicts with others, understand their feelings and issues, and learn to find new solutions to old problems.

Therapy can have specific objectives (such as changing behavior, improving relationships with family, friends, or teachers) or more general goals (such as reducing anxiety, improving self-esteem). The duration of psychotherapy depends on the complexity and severity of the issues.
